WHEN DOES THE RYDE SCHEDULE GO LIVE?
The schedule is released every Sunday at 5:00PM and extends from Monday through the following Monday. Classes fill up fast and are on a first come first served basis, so make sure you book your bike early. Want to book early every week? Enjoy unlimited RYDEs for an entire year and early booking privileges with the Infinite Silver Package or purchase a RYDE Prime class package to book your RYDE early.
DOES RYDE HAVE AN APP?
Yes! You can download the RYDE iOS application from the App Store HERE and easily manage your account, sign up for classes, track your progress, and much more.
WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION, LATE ARRIVAL, AND NO SHOW POLICIES?
In order to cancel a RYDE and avoid losing a credit, you must unreserve your class at least 8-hours prior to your scheduled class. You may cancel online or by calling the studio directly. If your class is canceled within the cancellation period, the credit will be returned to your account to be used at a future date. If you are an Infinite Package client and cancel after the 8-hour cancellation window, you will be charge a $10 Late Cancel Fee. Infinite Package clients that do not show up for class and do not cancel their bike at all will be charged a $15 No Show Fee.
If you are not checked in 2 minutes prior to class, your bike will be released to the waitlist. If you are running late, please call to let us know before the cutoff period. We will hold reservations for up to 10 minutes after the start of class. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will not be permitted to enter the studio.
WHAT IS THE WAITLIST POLICY?
If a class is full, feel free to add yourself to the waitlist. If any spots open up, clients are enrolled from the waitlist on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified if you are enrolled via email. The same cancellation, late arrival, and no show policies apply. If you need to remove yourself from the waitlist, please do so 8-hours prior to the scheduled class in order to avoid losing a credit. Credits will be returned to your account if you do not make it off the waitlist for a particular RYDE.
I PURCHASED A RYDE CLASS PACKAGE. WHEN DOES IT EXPIRE?
We keep it simple. All packages expire one (1) year from the date of purchase.
WHAT IF I AM A RYDE BEGINNER?
RYDE is for all fitness levels and abilities. Our instructors push you to work hard during every RYDE, but you are always in control of the intensity of your workout. If you have never cycled before, we recommend grabbing a bike in the middle of the room, so you can see the instructor and follow the lead of the front row RYDErs. This will help you make your way up to the front of the room as your skills progress and you become more familiar with the workout.
ARE CYCLING SHOES REQUIRED?
Yes. Proper shoes provide a safe cycling experience on the bike and also help keep knees, hips and ankles aligned. Furthermore, cycling shoes help target proper muscle groups and maximize workout results. Our bikes are compatible with LOOK Delta and SPD cleats, but are NOT compatible with LOOK KEO. Feel free to bring your own shoes or rent a pair of our cycling shoes for $3.50. Cycling shoes are provided free of charge for your first RYDE.
DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS, SHOWERS, AND CHANGING ROOMS?
All RYDE studios feature premium lockers with keyless security locks to protect your valuables, fully-stocked locker rooms, towel service, showers, Aesop amenities. It is our mission to make sure you always feel refreshed and recharged after every RYDE.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
If you have never been to RYDE, we recommend wearing a lightweight shirt and fitness bottoms. Fitness gear made of moisture wicking or performance material will help you stay dry. Whatever you choose, just make sure you are comfortable.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We always provide the essentials like filtered water and complimentary towels. We also have Essentia Water available for purchase for $3.50. You will also want to bring your cycling shoes or rent a pair of ours for $3.50. Cycling shoes are provided free of charge for your first RYDE.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?
Please arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled RYDE. This ensures you have plenty of time to change your clothes and shoes, set up your bike, and make some new friends. Make sure you check in at the front desk upon arrival.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP BOOKINGS AND PRIVATE RYDES?
Yes! A group RYDE is a great for birthdays, wedding parties, corporate team building events, and much more. Contact us to schedule a group RYDE or Private RYDE by emailing email@example.com.
HOW MANY CALORIES WILL I BURN?
Calories burned depends on body weight and the intensity of effort during your RYDE. In a typical 45-minute RYDE, you can burn an average of 300 to 700 calories. Many RYDE clients enjoy tracking their fitness performance and goals with an Apple Watch, Whoop, Fitbit, or other popular fitness wearables.
IS IT SAFE TO LIFT WEIGHTS ON A BIKE?
Yes, all free weight exercises are performed while maintaining proper biking form.
SHOULD I RYDE IF I AM PREGNANT?
Many pregnant women are able to cycle well into their pregnancy. However, please consult with your physician before engaging in indoor cycling classes.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT TO RYDE?
In order to RYDE you must be at least 4’10” and at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver before your first RYDE.
